215 Capsule

June is National Indigenous History Month.

We feel we should always honour & respect the Indigenous people of Canada & the land we have come to share.

This June it is exceptionally important to acknowledge the rich culture, traditions and diverse experiences that remain strong today. It is critical to recognize the historical and current pain, disrespect and genocidal actions Canada has inflicted on the Indigenous People .

The horrific discovery of 215 children’s remains, in British Columbia on the ground of a residential school is devastating.  It was the catalyst to this limited Edition collection.  100% of sales will be donated to the indigenous community of Canada.

To date they have uncovered 354 remains in mass graves at other residential schools and they are continuing to search the rest.

The Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc people are finally able to confirm something they have always known to be true. There are no words to describe such a tragedy and a very dark part of our not so distant past and our ongoing Canadian history.

To honour these children whose lives were stolen from them, Black Knight has created a special edition wristlet with “2” “1” and “5” rivets. All money from sales of these wristlets will be donated to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society which will directly support their mission to provide support to survivors, families, and communities.

Be strong, Be you, Be a Black Knight.
